X-Country Snowshoe

From sprinters to speed shufflers, this 5k and 10k snowshoe race brings competitors to the top of Vail Mountain for a challenging x-country course that starts at 10,000 feet in elevation. Running up Kloser's Climb with variable snow conditions from corduroy-groomed to powder, smooth to steep, this sometimes single-track will leave competitors speechless, but not without bragging rights.

Vail Mountain
Golden Peak Base Area

PRICE:

$35 online/45 on-site

All comps at the Games have limited capacity and will fill up quickly. Please register early so you're not left out!

PRIZES:

$4,000 prize purse. Levels of payout TBA.

Only the 10k racers will be eligible for prize money.

NOTES:

Please note that a headlamp/flashlight is mandatory to compete in this event.  

Hey! Rules are awesome. We need them and there will probably be many.

Being a new event we are still working on some of the finer details... like "rules."
