Ever wonder just how tough is tough? You’re about to find out with the Vail Pass Half marathon. While running for 13.7 miles might be a walk in the park for some, add in 2,900 feet of elevation gain from Vail Village to the top of Vail Pass and it’s no longer your daddy's half marathon. Oh, did we mention a finish altitude of 10,000 feet? How about the fact that it might be snowing? Or that it may take you a week to get enough of your voice back to brag about it? If you’re tough enough and have the guts—let alone the lungs—register for the Vail Pass Half at the Teva Mountain Games. Only the strong survive. Don't believe the hype? Check out the course profile.
